I need to get moving on posting my furniture pieces on craigslist, that's the biggest hurdle I have to hop in order to get stuff moving and to stop feeling like I'm not making any progress. I'll do that tonight/tomorrow morning (at 5am, woohoo!).
I found a new source of inspiration. It's incredibly simple looking, and it actually exists within my apartment. In fact... it is my apartment! But it's the angle in which I view it... every morning when I wake up.

Clean. Simple. Inviting.
I know I'm a huge fan of bright colors and lots of pretty things to look at, but seeing my apartment (or at least the top part of it) looking so sparse makes me really happy. I think I might add a new style into the mix and call it "Warm Minimalism."
Here's a list of what is (or WAS) on the agenda for this week:
WEEK 4 - The Living Area
To Dos
• Clean up "living area." **I'm doing this tonight!**
• Declutter books & media. **Tomorrow night!**
• Empty the outbox.
• Decide where to increase or decrease color (and how).
• Send out housewarming invitations.
• Buy coasters.
Ideas
• Recover chaise buttons. **I have no idea how to even begin to do this... my initial attempts failed**
• Make & Hang curtains.
• Make 2-3 throw pillows for chaise.
• Buy a tall Lack shelf for "media center."
• Network everything and make it all wireless. (mac mini, media center, printer, G4, laptop, speakers/music, keep in mind HDTV & DVR) **This can't happen until AT&T stops being a-holes and FIXES MY INTERNET!**
I'm definitely not going to get everything done... but really, just cleaning the living area alone with make me feel like I've done so much! Oh the joys of living in a tiny tiny apartment. :)
