Well fine then, car! Have it your way!

Grumble.

Looks like The Cure is going to be seriously downsized for me. At least for now, I may end up simply extending some parts of it.
See, living in Los Angeles isn't all it's cracked up to be. You NEED a car to get around (the public transport system is about as fully functional as my apartment right now), and when that car decides to be all "wwwhaaahhh, I need new brake pads, and my alternator is effed and thus I killed your battery and oh, yeah, didn't you notice that I was telling you that I need FOUR new struts? you know, when you were driving down Wilshire Blvd? What do you mean you couldn't tell from all the potholes???" well, you can't really ignore it. And oddly enough, fixing these things all at once is not free.
Ugh.

So yeah, all of my money is now going to car repairs. Ok, well not all of it, but a lot of it, and I don't feel comfortable spending what I was planning to spend on my apartment anymore... at least not right now, all at once.
I'm going to go over my budget tonight and whittle it down to a comfortable spending zone and try to keep it to only the things I absolutely NEED.
I'm also going to go through my "To Dos" for The Cure and rework them, narrowing it down to what I can get done affordably in the time I have left.

Once I get that all worked out I'll update with my new plan for The Cure and any extensions I may deem necessary for my apartment.
