No, this isn't some brand new, underground, amazing discovery... but it's new for me. I went into Home Goods this afternoon while wandering around Glendale, and I've either seriously underestimated this store or never actually been in one before. Or perhaps this one in Glendale is an anomaly in regards their stores.
They had a pretty huge selection of everything you might need for your home. Forget IKEA, go to Home Goods.
I've been meaning to replace a couple basic "home goods" and although I didn't today, when I finally decide to I will definitely be hitting up Home Goods. I might even be able to find a table small enough to fit in my kitchen nook. Or even find a tall and narrow shelf so I don't have to go get an IKEA LACK shelf.
But if you're just looking for some good basic necessities on the cheap, they'll more than likely have you covered. Need some good white sheets? Home Goods has them, and sorted by size. Need a new set of matching bath towels? Home Goods has those too, a whole WALL full of them all sorted by color. What about throw pillows? Yup, those too, also sorted by color. It's coordinating made easy!
What about random piece of utilitarian furniture that's not from IKEA. Yup, Home Good has that too.
And possibly the best part? SUPER CHEAP! I only bought a couple candles, but still... they were cheap! Three Yankee Candles that would normally cost me a total of $60 were only $25... $25!!! That made me way happy.
what would it be?
