I had been living like this for about 6 months:

No, it wasn't terrible, awful, or anything... but it never felt right. I never felt "at home" and I knew there was something missing but I couldn't put my finger on it.
After months of being too busy to actually accomplish anything real, I was finally able to do some real life rearranging last weekend. And this is what I discovered:

Words can't describe how ecstatic I was when all of the pieces fell into place.
It's not finished in any sense of the word and I'm not sure that a home is every really "finished," but it is right. It feels right, it makes sense and I finally feel AT HOME in my own home. I can't wait to see how much more awesome it can get. :)

Saw your apartment on Apartment therapy and read that you changed it round.....was very curious.
Have to report that it looks brilliant.
Great job.
You have inspired me to do something with my new place
Thanks, Kimberly! I'm glad I could be of inspiration. :)
